Personal Care

We help individuals who need assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:

A. Costs for services vary dependent upon the duties performed within your personalized care plan. Rather than give a standard rate for hourly services, we tailor solutions to fit your budget and needs.

Additionally, AllCaregivers works with families to source funding for home care through various federal, state, local and non-profit agencies. If you feel you may have difficulty affording home care services, we have a team that is dedicated to assisting you with your needs.

Answer:
A. Yes. AllCaregivers employs Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Our experienced, caregiving team members are required to receive ongoing training throughout their careers. This is done to us keep abreast of changing patient needs, as well as new technologies.

As a client of AllCaregivers, families are assured a qualified caregiver who has received all of the following:

  • Ongoing in-service training in accordance with South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services standards
  • Licensed nurse supervision both on- and off-site
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug testing
  • Department of motor vehicles record check

AllCaregivers is not a staffing agency or placement agency. We follow your needs and monitor the quality of care each family receives at all times.

A: Common payer sources may include Medcaid, Long Term Care Insurance, Veterans Administration, Workers Compensation, Private Pay, Office on Aging, and Local Organizations. We always assist our clients on finding suitable payer sources if the need arises. Give us a call and we’re happy to help.
A: We hire experienced caregivers and provide initial training before any client contact. Our training is conducted by our nurse supervisors and is done in compliance with standards set forth by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC), as well as the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Ongoing training and monitoring is also required throughout the entirety of employment with AllCaregivers.
A: Since all of our caregivers are employees, we are required to maintain valid workers compensation and liability insurances as well as licensure from SCDHEC. Criminal background checks are performed on all employees. Additionally, all of our caregivers are routinely drug screened and must undergo health assessments including tuberculosis testing.
A: We do not require a contract period. We understand that our clients’ needs may change at short notice, and we are always willing to accommodate any changes that occur.
